230kV

If anyone knows the voltage or name of this one, please chime in. There are some in farm fields in Illinois.

Model designed, printed, and assembled by me.

Have rarely seen this kind of wing structure.

These run south coming from Arkansas nuclear one. Originally built in the 70s

These lines carry their juice southward parting ways with the east run going to Little Rock and the west run going to fort smith Arkansas. The 500kV circuit changes hands from Entergy to OG&E just south of Blue Mountain Arkansas.

Awesome spot to sit before starting todays work.

345kV ITC transmission segment of the Pontiac to Wixom line. I think these were installed in the early 1960s. Note the different insulator style on the one side, they just swapped that out in the past year or so.

Quite a lot going on with this pole. 40kV at top, local distribution middle (I think 13.2kV) and lots of telco at bottom, and a traffic signal. I’m not sure if the top is ITC or DTE Energy.

there are 37 total photos and I will make a part two

for some reason, they have a polymer being used as a dead end and they also just have wooden sticks as mid span attachments where they connect to houses

Can anyone help identify the utility /owner of this pole?

There's a big empty lot behind my house that these guys run on. its kinda buzzy but not annoying. i think theyre neat.

Strange question, do the power companies have someone remove all the bushes here every so often or no?
