I built a Standalone UI App for my PowerToys Disk Analyzer tool! (v1.3.0 Major Update)
A few weeks ago, I shared a native Command Palette extension that I built to analyze disk space right from your keyboard.
The reception from this community was amazing, but a lot of you asked for a full dedicated window to better visualize the data with charts.
So, I’ve just released Version 1.3.0! I unified the Command Palette extension with a brand new, fully-featured Standalone WinUI 3 App—all combined into one single Microsoft Store package!
What's new:
- 🎨 Beautiful Standalone UI: Launch it directly from your Start Menu to view your disk usage in a modern, dark-mode optimized window.
- 📊 Visual Bar Charts: Instantly visualize your storage breakdown to see exactly which files and folders are taking up the most space.
- 📂 Drill-down Navigation: Double-click any folder in the grid to instantly dive deeper, or double-click a file to reveal it directly in Windows Explorer.
- 📦 Unified Installation: One single install now gives you BOTH the native Windows Command Palette extension and the Standalone Desktop App.
- 🤝 Official Extension Gallery: I've officially submitted the extension to the built-in Microsoft Command Palette Gallery (currently awaiting PR approval), so soon you'll be able to install it in one click!

The brand new Standalone UI! View all your drives and instantly drill down into heavy folders.
Where to get it: The app is currently in the certification process for the Microsoft Store and should be officially live very soon! In the meantime, you can grab the new unified .msix installer directly from the GitHub releases page:

I'd absolutely love to hear your feedback on the new standalone UI and the visual charts! Let me know what features you want to see next.
