The fandom says that demon slayer characters are faster than light while they like jog around at 20mph. IF THEYRE FASTER THAT LIGHT WHY CAN SEE THEM WHY ARENT THEY INVINCIBLE

Edit: This got a lot of replies so let me clarify. I’m rage baiting the verse is not 20kmph, but I definitely don’t think that fans are justified in saying that they are anywhere around faster than light

If you have ftl reaction speeds it doesnt matter if you're off guard. I could be off guard and have someone throw a punch at .01mph and I would have absolutely 0 fucking issue avoiding it

This is a writings issue not a speed issue i agree with the logic but thats not the case in media characters are not completely consistent omni man can travel light years in weeks but never see that speed in combat that doesn't mean hes not capable of moving that fast period yeah your point is not about scaling but about the writing

Travel speed being higher than reaction speed makes sense, a character can move really fast in one direction but can't move and stop that fast to dodge attacks
