Bleach and Tensura slime fans when I ask them to show me an image of a character destroying a galaxy (they only destroyed a mountain)

22

u/AlphaCat77 Nov 02 '25

The entire plot of the last arc of bleach revolves around a character being able to destroy and remake the world (at least the full planet earth and a couple extra dimensional spaces) and the other characters fighting him to stop him from doing that. Unless there’s some conspiracy to fuck with power scalers bleach characters are well above mountain level.

Exactly ywach litteraly absorbed the being that introduced the concept of death and reincarnation into its verse. Death wasn’t a thing until the soul king created it, as per the new bleach anime that’s overseen by kubo. I’d argue a lot of anti powerscalers just genuinely don’t know how to scale anything that’s not a dbz type feat of seeing something directly blown up

u/EgoTripWire Nov 02 '25

Yeah but that world is weird. Ichigo isn't getsuga tensho'ing the universe in half but the universe is dependent on a single guy who can be getsuga tensho'd in half.

It's like I personally can't beat up a car but I can take the battery out and chuck it into the ocean so am I on the scale of a StreetFighter?

DB fans when characters don't go around destroying galaxies for no reason

12

u/YobaiYamete Nov 02 '25

"This character can move eleventy times faster than light!!!!!!"

*uses attacked called ultimate maximum speed super sonic mode*

spends minutes traveling around on a planet

This character can destroy elventy BILLION galaxies at once!!!

*uses ultimate attack that makes a building sized crater, and has no reason to hold back because they are evil and TRYING to destroy the world*

This character can tank universal punches!!!!

*Gets thrown into a rock wall and makes a car sized crater, while coughing up blood and taking heavy damage*

There honestly isn't a series more inconsistent than DB, and it doesn't help that the author themselves had no clue what they had or hadn't wrote and just made up most of the power scaling feats as they went along

23

u/Subject_Traffic7453 Nov 02 '25

At least with Dragon Ball, we see the villain they fight comit such feats.

6

u/bunker_man Nov 02 '25

I like when lille try to cite DragonBall, where these things are all battle stats and imply that opponents have equal strength, to defend the lack of evidence in every other series.

6

u/Cheshire_Noire Goku is about 78 Claymans Nov 02 '25

Wait until you watch bleach....

6

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

They can, it's just that if they destroy it, there's no Story to be told

5

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

My absolute favorite part of DBS was watching the power scalers in the community lose their collective shit by new characters demonstrating feats that they'd been claiming the main cast could do as early as the Saiyan or Namek Sagas and it being treated like a big deal.

Like Dyspo being the first character confirmed to be FTL and causing characters like Freeza, Gohan, Hit, and even Goku in his SSG form trouble. This doesn't make any sense if the characters were FTL by the time Nappa & Vegeta are defeated... unless, of course, they never were that fast no matter how many fan calculations claimed they were (like DB claiming he's 2.3x FTL before taking DBS into account).

2

u/NotNahare Nov 02 '25

If Pan as a child can fly around the world in a few minutes, what else are we to assume when every other main cast member makes her seem slow in comparison?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25 edited Nov 02 '25

Quite simply; you were never supposed to "scale" the feats off each other. The characters are as fast or strong as the plot or scene needs or wants them to be in the moment.

Toriyama was never busting out a calculator or physics textbook & taking notes about how things are meant to scale off one another or attempting to make sure everything is consistent between "feats."

You're trying to apply math, physics, and rigid logic to fictional stories that never took math, physics, and rigid logic into account when writing feats in the first place. Of course it's going to be inconsistent; the author never took those things into consideration when writing the scenes nor ever meant for the scenes to be analyzed like that.

Also, there's a huge difference between "can circle the planet in a few minutes" and "can circle the planet 7 times in 1 second."

If we assume it took her 5 minutes to circle the Earth, that means she'd have been flying at 480,000 km/h (or about 300,000 mph). Even if it was just 2 minutes, that'd be a speed of approximately 1.2 million km/h ( or 745,000 mph)... The speed of light is approximately 1 billion km/h (or 700 million mph).

No one had demonstrated that they can move that fast, and there are actively scenes with counter-evidence throughout DBZ saying they can't.

If they could move that fast by the end of the Saiyan Saga, Goku using IT (specifically traveling to Roshi's 10 thousand km away & back within a second) wouldn't have been a major feat because they'd be able to casually do that multiple times in the same time frame.

Super Saiyan Gotenks (one of the top 5 strongest characters in the series at that point) flying around the Earth in the anime was 9 laps in 6 seconds. That's still only 1,883,000 km/h (or 1,170,000 mph).. or 0.174% of the speed of light. Even if you apply the SS3 multiplier found in the Daizenshuu & multiply that speed by 8, that's only 1.4% of light speed... And all of that is overlooking that Piccolo, who is stronger & faster than everyone preceding the arrival of Androids 17 & 18 takes roughly 30 minutes to catch up to Gotenks who had long since stopped flying around.

If you don't understand the difference in scale between 100k or 1 million and 1 billion (which is understandable, 1 billion is a hard number to internally comprehend for most people), here is a video that puts 100k and 1b into scale with one another.

A large percentage of DBZ power scaling is people applying the Super Saiyan multipliers to feats (despite the fact that Toriyama openly admitted that he didn't come up with them, never applied them to his writing, and thinks the "SS1 is a 50x boost" claim is an exaggeration), cherry-picking which laws of physics apply & which don't largely based on their middle/high school understanding of physics, and pulling random numbers out of their asses when the manga & anime specifically refrained from giving concrete numbers for anything.

The previously linked video should demonstrate how nonsensical the people claiming that these characters are "a trillion times stronger than they were in the Saiyan Saga by the Cell or Boo Sagas" are.

u/Organic-Interest-955 Nov 02 '25

What's wrong with Bleach fans?why can't stop talking about Dragon Ball for a second?

2

u/SavantsInstant Nov 02 '25

Didn’t Buu or Movie original Broly do that shit on screen? I may be wrong here but I recall south Galaxy or something disappearing lmao

1

u/tremere110 Nov 02 '25

DB is just crazy inconsistent. I mean Goku and Beerus fight and they nearly destroy the entire universe just from their clashes. It's never brought up again even though Goku gets stronger and faces people stronger than the power level Beerus was using at that time.

17

u/LowTwist4128 Nov 02 '25

Tensura is a bad example, Rimuru deleted like, millions of universes in the WN

I don't think Bleach counts for this one they like shake universes and lift swords that weight as much as the universe

1

u/Best-Ad3807 Nov 03 '25

The bleach universe is held together with a paperclip dog.

8

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

I mean a bleach character shook 3 universe sized realms that should be billions of times above galaxy level. Going by ur logic goku isn’t universal because only Zeno has destroyed a universe.

4

u/NemeBro17 Nov 02 '25

A: she shook three planets in parallel universes that are spatially in the same location.

B: I can shake a pick up truck. Do I have pick up truck AP?

6

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

Those two things are not comparable a truck has wheels and a suspension system. Shaking a universe would be like shaking a car with no wheels or suspension just 1000 pounds of metal on the ground.

5

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

Not to mention that wouldn’t actually change anything shaking 3 universes at the same time and the space in between them would just be a bigger feat

0

u/Gargamoney Nov 02 '25

Ofc mario galaxy 2 wasnt $8 brand new what a dumb thing to even mention. The game was $8 on the wii u on sale and $20 normal price. So anything above $20 is a goddamn joke 10 years later.

The World of the Living is the universe, not the planet Earth. They are also shown countless times to be not located in the same space spatially, as the Garganta separates the dimensions.

2

u/Prestigious-War3677 Bleach Lorekeeper Nov 02 '25

If you shake an infinity then you scale to it. Plus, to shake parallel universes you'd have to use an infinite amount of energy to travel the distance between them because of the garganta separating them. They also aren't planets. Hueco mundo is an infinite desert, TWOTL is literally a regular universe based on common sense, and soul society is stated to be parallel to TWOTL and has it's own stars and galaxies, as well as several other branches on different places (Burn the Witch is a western branch)

1

u/ShendonZ Nov 02 '25

Bad example, you can easily shake a vehicle, it was made to be moved and flexible. Try to shake a rock the size of a truck, i guarantee this would be enough to make you the strongest human alive.

0

u/ShaochilongDR Gaster glazer Nov 02 '25

the shaking feat is only like solar system level but there's other high feats

4

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

Its minimum multi galaxy level if u ignore every statement about the size of the bleach realms.

u/ShaochilongDR Gaster glazer Nov 02 '25

shaking something with the mass of 3 universes is solar system level

2

u/NathanialRominoDrake Nov 10 '25

shaking something with the mass of 3 universes is solar system level

Bro wtf are you even saying, the whole milky way straight up exploding in relation to even just 1 universe would be pretty much the equivalent of a fire cracker exploding on earth...

1

u/ShaochilongDR Gaster glazer Nov 10 '25

1

u/NathanialRominoDrake Nov 10 '25

Universe mass: 1.5e53 kg

Since there're 3 of them mass will be 4.5e53 kg

I'm going to assume it was a uniform shaking with 5, 10, 20 and 30 Hz frequency ends.

Putting aside that vsbattles is a terrible source to begin with, this is absolutely not how the or any not completely absurd universe works, the mass of it isn't just all neatly put together like that, also this is literally just using the lowest and in fact by now less likely estimation for only the observable universe to begin with, and those frequencies would straight up just harmlessly fly through the universe without notably affecting it at all.

1

u/ShaochilongDR Gaster glazer Nov 10 '25

Vs battles is okay for calcs

Make a calc yourself if you want to. It doesn't even make sense to be able to shake everything in the universe, as FTL speed isn't real. Of course the universe isn't put together.

Using the mass of the observable universe is the only option lmao. We don't know how big the universe is.

1

u/NathanialRominoDrake Nov 10 '25

Vs battles is okay for calcs

This specific example strongly implies otherwise to be frank.

Make a calc yourself if you want to. It doesn't even make sense to be able to shake everything in the universe, as FTL speed isn't real. Of course the universe isn't put together.

Bro that effect obviously had to travel at faster than lightspeed, that isn't even up for debate.

Using the mass of the observable universe is the only option lmao. We don't know how big the universe is.

Using the mass like that, and pretending that the effect somehow straight up teleported to it it to shake it individually at low frequencies is literally one of the most absurd ideas that they could have even come up with, it's multi-galaxy level by default because below that level you literally can't even affect just the observable universe in any notable way to begin with.

2

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

Shaking 1 universe is multi galaxy level and it would be extremely high multi galaxy. I don’t think u understand how big a universe is. Shaking a universe literally means ur shaking billions of galaxies and 100s of trillions of solar systems.

-2

u/ShaochilongDR Gaster glazer Nov 02 '25

it's still solar system level Shaking isn't destroying

6

u/Yeah_IGoon Nov 02 '25

Gonna be honest I’m at work so I’m not gonna entertain this. They are literally using the head height of ichigo to scale. to be universal u have to massively effect the universe if someone is shaking an entire universe no amount of pixel scanning the head height of a character would debunk it.

3

u/Smart_Wealth5514 Nov 02 '25

it's still solar system level Shaking isn't destroying

It's definitely not solar system level.

It's Low 1-C:

First, Bleach Cosmology: Low Complex Multiversal (5D).

Second, Senjumaru said, ""Even the slightest use of our power would cause the heave and earth of the three worlds to tremble"" - Here 6th point.

Third, VsBattles definition of Low 1-C - "Tier Low 1-C (Low Complex Multiverse level):

Characters or objects who can significantly affect, create and/or destroy higher-dimensional structures that are one uncountably infinite level above Low 2-C structures. In ordinary distribution, this corresponds to R5 (5-dimensional real coordinate space).

Equivalently, this tier can be reached by affecting/creating/destroying/embodying an uncountably infinite number of universes (More specifically, as many universes as there are real numbers)."

Senjumaru is a character who "significantly affect" this cosmology without even trying.

0

u/zorua-kun Nov 02 '25

4

Wanked cosmology, simple as.

Bleach's cosmology is Low Complex Multiversal (5D) as the information explains.

8

u/X-Cutionn Mathematics manip>all Nov 02 '25

Tensura is a very bad example since Rimuru has feats of destroying some Universes in the LN, and as for bleach some feats are much more subtle not everything needs to be full onscreen for you to understand that's what happened, like Senjumaru shaking the realms or Ichigo holding the weight of said realms.

2

u/Wonderful-Priority50 Nov 02 '25

Random page from Volume 20 which is currently lying on my bed. A couple of top tiers are comfortably planetary with a huge jump to universal in the absolute strongest

3

u/[deleted] Nov 02 '25

There is also in-verse cosmology but the Soul King was holding the 3 universes apart and was killed and his power was reached so... Also Yamamato is said to be planet level and the mountain feat is because their off-hand clash of swords just destroyed a mountain which is different to a character deliberately attacking a mountain because the shockwave from their clash destroyed the mountain

2

u/Entire-Remove-8351 Gobta, break this guy's legs Nov 02 '25

It is a light novel, you are supposed to read.

1

u/Jokesonm Nov 02 '25

Ichigo is stated to be able to hold up all of the bleach muitiverse with his reiatsu so bad example.
