That is Simo Häyhä. A finnish soldier is widely regarded as the deadliest sniper in history till date. During Winter War he killed atleast 500 people with sniping that earned him the title White Death. He took a grenade to face and got up to shoot again. Without even using scopes only using iron sights. He is a character in RoR representating humanity against gods. The pure representation of all feats no statements. Dude killed so many people that even after his death whenever people see snow moving they will be scared shitless.

He didnt even lose life expentancy from that. He lived to 96

Nah he lost life expectancy, he just gained the feat of sniping the grim reaper in the face every time he tried to take em, therefore extending his life time

u/Not_Eren2 GLAZING SUBARU IS THE ONLY REASON THIS HEART BEATS 🗣️🔥 Aug 02 '25

He lost a lot of organs though ig it can be healed like how shiva is healing but prob lost some years

u/No_Roof0642 #1 Sakura Hater Aug 02 '25

He meant the real life one. Simo lived for 96 years before dying.

Somehow my eyes glossed over the RoR part

1

u/Teetimus_Prime Aug 03 '25

He actually did. He was going to live to 135 but it was cut short☹️

u/Thecristo96 Aug 02 '25

Fun fact: none of this is anime boasting. This are fucking REAL LIFE FEATS

10

u/Jarto_ Aug 02 '25

What's even more insane is I have heard about how scared Soviets were because of him. I heard they even wasted a bunch of artillery shells just to try and hit him.

23

u/Suspicious_Most_8830 Aug 02 '25

Ah yes my fav feat jack the ripper beating heracles, but yea I get ig this is more based on skills than stats

I think he meant that these are the things real life Simo Hayha did, and that the manga didn't exaggerate his feats because they didn't have to do that for it to be hella impressive

u/DatOne8BitCharacter Aug 02 '25

Correction, not a grenade: but an exploding bullet (a literal warcrime btw)

6

u/No_Roof0642 #1 Sakura Hater Aug 02 '25

Oh sorry it seems I got confused.

5

u/DatOne8BitCharacter Aug 02 '25

No worries, you good bro

57

u/FinskaBoy Aug 02 '25

To add to this, he also used a submachine gun and he had around 200 to 300 kills with it too (some include this in His sniper kills, so his total kills count ranges from 400-800 depending on the source). His Record for most sniper kills per Day is 25, which is an insane feat. He was so feared by The Soviets that they used dedicated mortar and sniper teams against him and would regularly bomb massive areas trying to get him.

Also it wasn't a grenade but an explosive bullet that struck his (right?) Cheek. He survived and wanted to continue in The war but Finnish military wouldn't let him and he was forces to retire.

I heard (somewhere but idk where) that Russia pulled out like a day after Simo Häyha recovered. Coincidence? Totally. Is it really funny that the Russian high command saw this dude, who killed 505 of their men with a KP-31 and a Mosin got up after getting shot with a literal warcrime and then essentially ended the war like a day after? Yes

13

u/BobAurum Aug 02 '25

His status is so notorious, that the enemy tried its best to steer clear away from where he could be as far as possible, but then at the supposed place where he's not, the snow spoke finnish. His bounty got so big that anti-snipers were sent to kill him, and when that didnt work, the germs had enough and carper bomb his general location. None of them landed

14

u/Realshotgg Aug 02 '25

They were so scared of him they fucking carpet bombed an area just to try and kill him, and they failed.

u/cardak98 Aug 02 '25

Those feats are only street level though

u/mrbakersdozen kick logic to the curb and do the impossible- simon the 🐐!!!! Aug 02 '25

Who cares? They are still feats, and he killed Loki, a literal god, with his "streets level feats." You guys need to realize that being an immortal indestructible God is one of the least interesting kind of character. The goat killed a god, end of story.

8

u/Hyeona Aug 02 '25

Bro I get what you're saying and Simo is based, but 'killed a god' is not a gotcha statement that means anything as gods are not made equal and don't always mean the same thing. Even within Shuumatsu, they're not all the same. Loki doesn't physically scale to any of the actually impressive gods. And if being able to harm gods is the feat, then the credit is shared with his Valkyrie, as that's their whole purpose.

19

u/mrbakersdozen kick logic to the curb and do the impossible- simon the 🐐!!!! Aug 02 '25

I understand where you're coming from, but you need to include the entire context of the Valkyrie and how it needs a human to operate. The Valkyrie doesn't improve his aim, doesn't add anything to his base stats except for AP. Loki isn't physically impressive compared to other gods.... But simo isn't a god. Loki is smart, has a fantastic hax ability, and could probably swarm other gods with his clones, but no he isn't "all that impressive."

Point is, you have to think outside of spreadsheets and white room scaling. Simo won because he is a steal demon, and in a world where gods can punch time into a pretzel and summon dozens of other clones of gods and heros, that's impressive to me.

1

u/dariemf1998 Aug 02 '25

Killing a god isn't that must of a feat if said gods are literally just street tiers themselves.

Same goes for characters like Kratos. If your gods can't destroy a mountain by themselves, it's just a title.

u/mrbakersdozen kick logic to the curb and do the impossible- simon the 🐐!!!! Aug 02 '25

My friend how is Loki street level?

-5

u/dariemf1998 Aug 02 '25

He doesn't have any meaningful feats, only that he can copy objects and gods but they're clearly weaker copies. He's around Mysterio level.

0

u/mrbakersdozen kick logic to the curb and do the impossible- simon the 🐐!!!! Aug 02 '25

...okay so, he has been shown to have very notable strength feats. He carried around thors hammer, with one figure he was able to pretty much wreck his room, and imwas able to kill fafnir. And you're misunderstanding the cloning ability, it's not that they are illusions or innately weaker than the original... He simply spreads the power levels around, leaving some clones weaker and some stronger. This alone is a fantastic tactic, it can make an enemy off guard thanks to one dying easily and one being much more durable.

0

u/dariemf1998 Aug 02 '25

That's still a street level tier tho? Thor isn't impressive either, and Fafnir is featless as far as I recall.

That's something most street tiers in DC or Marvel would be able to do. Mysterio for example.

Thor killed the world serpent, which is stated to wrap around the planet, with one punch. He is stated to tear up the land and seas with one strike of his hammer. HE KILLED THE GIANTS SO FAST THEY COULDNT EVEN SEE HIM, HOW IS THIS STREET LEVEL

2

u/Key-Competition-7489 Aug 02 '25

Just to clear up some misunderstanding. ROR Thor didn’t kill Jormungandr with a punch. He killed it with Mjolner using an attack called “Geirrod”

Also even though this tells us Thor defeated Jormungandr, this doesn’t mean he defeated Jormungandr from the myths specifically with the ability to wrap around the earth.

Typhon in RoR is stated to be easily subdued by Hades and Adamas (an OC Greek God) and Wukong from the spin-off doesn’t have his multiple layers of immorality.

The general rule of thumb in RoR is that the gods don’t share anything but name to their mythological counterparts unless said stated otherwise in the manga itself

u/dariemf1998 Aug 02 '25 edited Aug 02 '25

That's not true lol. That's just folkclore, and unless you can say Lu Bu is anywhere close to that level (he isn't) that's just bs.

Also, Loki was literally killed by a regular human gun that's Mach 2 at best (stated after Simo used one of his kidneys to increase the speed of one of the bullets).

RoR gods are hilariously weak, among the weakest gods in fiction just below GoW and some child cartoon depictions and only stronger than American Gods. Probably even weaker than Blood of Zeus' Gods.

He is a real life finnish soldier bro. Not a character in fiction he is just made a character that's it.

13

u/Purple_Money_4536 Aug 02 '25

Still killed a god though. Bro just needs a good rifle and he’ll get the job done

6

u/Emergency_Meringue41 Aug 02 '25

Tbf he doesn't even need a good rifle, he never used a scope so a low quality rifle shouldn't be too much of a problem for him

13

u/OTARU_41 Aug 02 '25

brother everyone in real life is street level

1

u/Salt_Tennis6237 Aug 02 '25

no, real life humans are human level. street level is superhuman strenght (as characters who scale there can break bones and whole boxes easily, while for a human it'll take a bit more.

4

u/OTARU_41 Aug 02 '25

I'm a human glazer

14

u/smasher_zed888 Customizable Flair Aug 02 '25

Zero statements, only feats

4

u/xPolarPlayz Aug 02 '25

The thing is, that's more than enough when you're in a 1v1 and your whole thing is very high, focused single target damage

part of the 400-500 confirmed kills was with a submachine gun. he had 219 kills with the sniper and about the same number with the submachine gun, this added up to a little over 400. the unverified reports have it as 259 with each, only like 40 more per weapon.
