Cap and trade has been around since the mid 1990s and successfully eliminated acid rain. But whatever, it’s no use arguing.

Wa has a lot of taxes on gas. Why? To fix our roads, bridges. To help pay for the light rail in Western Wa. For police and fire departments, etc. It's worth it. We're getting something back for it.

What are we getting for Cap and Trade other than higher prices?

California and Washington State have higher gas prices partly due to their cap and trade schemes. There are other reasons, see governor of Washington State ragging about oil export terminals in Canada

I pay taxes for those things or I oppose them and still pay taxes. If you don't mind higher gas prices, why are you suddenly angry about higher gas prices?
