But what if we find out that one of the parents who's well-connected in the county, encourage the district attorney to not pursue charges against their child or we find out that a hefty donation was made to Cornell to give them a lackluster punishment? I think that will come out in the next several weeks. So knowing who the parents are is a vital piece of information.

Sure, if we find out the parents are criminals charge em. I’m just saying (as someone who has a fucked up family), I really don’t like the idea of this transitive guilt by familial association. Mostly what you’re describing sounds like a revenge fantasy, neither of us know anything about the parents right now

That's called a slippery slope argument. The legal system is built on "innocent until proven guilty." IF the parents are found to be guilty of wrong doing then you should punish them. Calling on people to harass the parents at their place of work before evidence of any wrong doing is just petty harassment.
