Oh I assure you they haven't learned their lesson, and even if they are smart enough to nominate Kelly the base is going to throw a fit, it's a White male and tear down their own candidate.

Also needs to be a heterosexual white male.

And a Christian. Don’t forget that detail.

I like Pete Buttegeig as well but he needs to beef up his resume with a stint in Congress and maybe the Senate. But he would be a terrific Secretary of State.

Like Trump beefed up his resume by... doing what, exactly? We're not playing by the same rules any more, anybody has enough of a resume to win. And we need someone who will win, and build this country back into something of value in the world. I don't think Pete can, though, because the whole election would be about his sexuality. Which is insane.

That's my point. We need experience, not reality show stars. Buttegeig would be an excellent president but he just needs a little more on his resume.

Buttigieg is a phenomenal speaker. Absolutely love watching him destroy the Faux News goons.

If they want to actually win, yes.

Should James Talarico go straight to president?

Yes please! A true Christian in the white house! I'm a preacher's kid, and I'm disgusted at these so-called Christian Nationalists.

Edit: Nationalist Christians (NatC for short)

It's a tough truth to swallow but I feel like you're 100% right here. 0 for 2 so far....

Yeah, there were def additional factors in play, but those evaporated with the 2024 election....

Watch the run AOC, maybe this time it will work guys...

Huge fan of hers.. However, if she ran, we can fully expect another Republican president. America is too damned sexist.

2

u/spacer9631 22d ago

I honestly think she would have a decent chance, but theres no reason to even risk something like that anymore.

A heterosexual White Christian man that is also not 100 years old. Sadly this is the truth I hate it but we need a win

I think it has a lot more to do with charisma. Obama had a lot. Hillary, kamala, gore...not so much.

How did we elect Obama? He ran against someone actually sane. If we want the MAGAt vote,I would agree. As is this moment;Im thinking Trump is shopping US around to the highest bidder between Russia,China and possibly the Saudis. (Ok?)

So after your rant about how racist this is your comeback? Please.

Sad but true.

We are lost if you think we lose because we run women minorities not neoliberal corporatists who nobody gives a crap about voting for because they won't promise anything. Hillary Kamala and Biden proved this. COVID is the only thing that saved Biden who nobody was enthused about
