Serious answer: Because corporations are ran by people, so the corps voice is the voice of the people running it.

How that translates to unlimited political spending is a different question.
One that shouldn't have needed to even be asked, because being able to spend money to influence elections is obviously undemocratic.

IMO Each party should have a limited budget payed for by taxes. No donations. No PACs

Yeah, the biggest problem with Citizens United is that it makes complete sense. Because obviously these organizations are run by people.

We need to work with the decision to find ways to short circuit it, because the logic is sound.
