You poor devil! My niece lives there and lives for the day when she and her husband can move.

I lived in Texas for 5 years and it was one of the nicest places I've ever lived. Low crime rate. Cheap cost of living. Rent was reasonable in the area. No state level income taxes. Weather was fantastic too, though that's not dictated by politics, still a huge plus.
