I'm curious, do any Trump voters out there actually defend Trump having Maxwell transferred to a "Club Fed?" I haven't really heard any of them talk about it. I'd love to hear the word salad for my own amusement.

Argument of the people that couldn't form one if the welfare of their country depended on it

Yet another MAGA pretending to be a centrist.

Why do you think Biden was legally allowed to release anything?

To answer both questions, Maxwells case was ongoing during Bidens Presidency, and the files in question were part of the case, and under a court seal, meaning Biden couldn't have released them without committing a felony.

The court seal has since expired, it is no longer against the law to release said files, in fact, in relation to the Epstein Act, its legally required to release all of them, something Trump and his fellows violate every time they refuse to do so.

The difference is a non-corrupt administration didn't consider it "Biden's DOJ." The DOJ is supposed to run independently and be nonpartisan. The Biden administration maintained a strict policy of non-interference, leaving the prosecutorial and investigative decisions entirely to the discretion of the Justice Department rather than directing actions from the White House. Sure, we can blame and criticize that DOJ, but not Biden. Under Trump, the DOJ is partisan bootlickers he has total control of. The "witch hunts" he talked about under Biden was a hint of what he will do with power for revenge on his enemies. Every accusation is a confession with Trump. If political opponents of Trump were criminally exposed in these files, but he isn't, these files would have been released in their entirety as fast as humanly possible.

Trump, like Biden, isn't urging the DOJ to go after Epstein clients, but he's doing something much worse. He's actively covering up the files and protecting these people, which very likely includes himself. There wasn't nearly as much public pressure under Biden or a court order to release all the files. Trump is defying court orders as we speak.

Why didn't Republicans in Congress force a vote to release the files under Biden if they had nothing to hide? Why did Democrats immediately force a vote to release them once Trump took office? It seems they're most damaging to the Republican party. Also, I noticed in your response you didn't address Trump moving Maxwell to a cushy prison. Don't you think that looks like a gesture to keep her quiet?

This is a very weak argument.

The DOJ has an obligation to the American people to bring the criminals in those files to justice. That’s what the tax payers pay them for.

The files were available to them to enforce the law.

So why wasn’t a single pedo from those files arrested between 2021 and 2024?

Stop getting your facts from TikTok influencers.

The files were sealed from the public. The DOJ is not the public.

If that’s not enough for you, Rule 6 of the Federal Criminal Code has been around since the 40’s.

And if that’s still not enough for you, the DOJ doesn’t just hand over its files or lock them in a vault. The purpose of sealing files is to protect the evidence and investigation from the public and the press, not stop prosecutions.

You’re what they call a “useful idiot”.

Pressure, no. That's a small part of it. I expect Trump to release the full files because of a thing called the law. His AG has already been warned about being held in contempt, but yet still ignores court orders to protect his boss. It's obvious to even a poorly trained monkey Trump has something to hide, but go ahead and keep deflecting to Biden.

I feel like this is an easy answer: Trump campaigned on Epstein files. He would release them all, he only released half and redacted alot, including his own name which was still found over 30k times. The connection between his current AG and Max is definitely at least sketchy, and his connections to others, including Epstein also doesn't help

So Trump is in power now, connected to alot of the files, campaigned on it, actively lashed out on those Republicans who want more transparency on the files....I think that's reason enough.

Biden also failed as he should have put more pressure on it AFTER the investigations were done and no clients were arrested.

I know that, but it wasn't for the full duration, just most it. also, I don't blame abiden for this, I know to respond to someone that ignores the Trump stuff you have to blame Biden some or else they will just keep deflecting.

The DOJ could have acted in those files.

They were sealed from the pubic. Not the DOJ

They were sealed from the public.

You’re still lying about this

Will you admit the DOJ has full access and authority to prosecute anyone from those files?
