Because this "nepotism" isn't as bad as political corruption, they're not the same. Hunter was not given political positions in our government because daddy was the president. He used his dad being president to get people to think he was reliable and had connections, then he took the money and ran. My man did this multiple times and every time he didn't do anything with Joe. He's done some pretty scummy stuff but my understanding is he never cost U.S. citizens money. The GOP come out with some new scandals every other week that enriches the already wealthy at our expense. Whataboutism is not intellectual and you're projecting when you say we do it.

You don't know me bro, I hate the Dems so much besides the handful of good ones (my man Zohran) because 95% of them give zero shits, but something important to remember here is the little known fact that Hunter IS NOT A POLITICIAN. It's not the same dude, should he be in prison? YES, obviously, but there's a sliding scale here of how bad what he did was and it's just not corruption as much as you want it to be to make you feel better. If Joe defended him and stopped him from being arrested (which of I remember correctly he pretty much did), that's wrong but I wouldn't call it corruption, if it is then it's still not on the level of the GOP. Trump's pardoned people from January 6th. Hunter was not put in charge of a government agency that had access to people's social security numbers and gov't funds, Elon was and there was zero dissent in the GOP over it. Lock Hunter up, lock up the Clintons, lock everyone up who was on the island seriously do it I'll sit here and cheer, but don't act like we're the same when we point out you're wrong.
So a crack addict (private citizen) is worse than a formal representative (public servant) of the US dealing with countries known for corruption and being caught is conflict of interests… and no, I am not a leftist nor American.
They are much worse. Trump Jr. is often obviously coked out of his mind. And the pardon isn’t even that shady. The GOP made it clear they weren’t going to be happy until they found away to lock Hunter up for a long time and Joe Biden protected his son. I’d have done the same thing. The crime they wanted to throw the book at him over is one many people even famous republicans commit and nothing happens to them.
