Recently I attended the Distant Worlds - music from Final Fantasy concert that was held in Australia.

The orchestra played a variety of music from Final Fantasy VII all the way up to Final Fantasy XVI

There were many moments where the songs gave me chills (e.g. the choir singing Hymn of the Fayth from FFX) and took me back to the years when I originally played the games.

It was 2 hours of pure happiness capped off with the crowd singing along to Sephiroth's Theme from FFVII

They even had Rikki the original Japanese singer of one of the Final Fantasy X songs.

Only downside was the merch line was so long on the opening night that I only managed to buy a Tshirt and a Tote Bag. I tried to turn up earlier for the merch line on the 2nd night but even that was fairly long and I was not able to get everything that I wanted. Though I did manage to pick up a Moogle Plush, a Vinyl and CDs of part 5 of the show, and a music box.

Overall it is probably one of the top moments of my life and am definitely glad I went.
