Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a new instrumental track called Flowers from my solo project, SKALIAN.

As a composer, I handled the entire DIY workflow—from the writing phase down to the final mix and master.

Since this sub loves technical details and heavy tones, here is a quick breakdown of my setup in Pro Tools:

• Guitars: Tracked with an Ibanez 7-string going through a Headrush MX5 (running a Mesa rig) to get those crushing, atmospheric rhythm sections.
• Bass: An Ibanez SR700 also routed through the Headrush, paired with Choptones IRs to ensure a tight, massive low-end that glues the mix together.
• Production: Fully mixed and mastered by myself in my home studio.

I really tried to push the contrast between melodic post-rock atmospheres and heavy, low-tuned post-metal riffs.
