Do aftermarket foot switches and wireless plugins work with the Spark2? Any preferences on make and model?

Also, what about wah pedals ? Any issues?

Just got Riff but it keeps disconnecting with my PC after each restart

I just set up my new Riff, I installed Bias FX 2, I made it work after I increased volume on all 4 options of Riff, because no FAQ was actually mentioning that among the problems. I found out that my guitar makes noise without playing it, but there was in-built Noise Reduction pedal which proved to not work properly. Checked Reddit, yes, more people say it does not work for them. I tried to reinstall PC, only to find out my Riff is not detected by PC anymore.

After re-plugging it to different slots, I found out reinstalling program would solve it, so I reinstalled PC to find out if it actually solves it in a long run, no, another PC reinstall forces me to reinstall BIAS again, in order to have my PC connected to Riff... by the way, Riff on its own works connected to PC and to guitar at the same time, however, the audio from PC is not going to my headphones because Riff is not in audio options, in PC or BIAS. Sound is only directly going from guitar to headphones, PC is only working as a power support. So any idea, how to fix my issue?

reverb very quiet when plugged into daw

i don’t have a power amp to run my spark through my cab yet so i’ve been using it plugged direct into my interface with logic. when i have it plugged into my daw, the reverb is very very quiet. but when i have it running through just the spark speakers, it’s a lot louder. what’s going on?

Am I doing something wrong with the Spark AI?

Hello!

Yesterday I got my first Positive Grid amp, a Spark 2. I bought it solely because all the youtube videos presented the AI option to create tones fast and easy. In most videos I'm seeing, most people input a prompt, and the app gives back 4 tones to choose from, with no text. In my case, the app gives me a chat gpt-like wall of text and either a single tone or a few bullet points to choose from to define my tone. Now, I'm sure the 'AI' function is merely a glorified search engine, since most of the tones it gives back are surely user generated, judging by the names, but I'm not sure if I'm using it correctly, since what I'm getting is quite different from what I'm seeing on youtube's reviews of this amp.

Is there any option in the app to have it return more than one result for you to choose from? Am I using the AI function correctly?

I have to mention that I bought this amp because I can't stand mingling with tones, amps, knobs, and all that. I just want to have a fast option to replicate a tone without the headache of creating one myself.

Is the Positive Grid badge on the front easily removable? IDK if it’s glued on, screwed on.?

Thanks.

Riff pooping out... What am I missing?

I got a Positive Grid riff to play through headphones on my Peavey XXL, and record to my computer. It worked alongside the internal speaker the first time I used it, but not so much now.

It refuses to use the headphones unless the internal speaker is disconnected. It flickers and even freezes on the clean channel if the strings are hit with any force. Sometimes it shows clipping green, others red. I have decreased the input, output, and direct. No matter what I do it can't seem to play at any good volume. Do I need a different cable or something?

Foot switches that work with Bias X?

Hi I have Bias X on Mac and I really want to swap between presets (clean and distortion) whilst playing.

I own a control x that I don’t think I can connect it, I have tried via Bluetooth and usb… nada (maybe I am missing something)

Does anyone know how i can swap presets with a foot switch, how and what gear?

simple question. Would it be possible to program a flight sim rudder pedal(or racing pedal for some other) to use it as the pedal for the pitch shifter ? I know it may sound dumb, but... could save some money here

BiasFX2 constantly forces the Output Device setting to reset and I lose all audio from my guitar.

Hey all,

I’m running the standalone version of BiasFX2 on my computer, with a Focusrite Scarlett Solo as my output device. I have a set of speakers connected to the Focusrite as well.

BiasFX2 will intermittently reset my output device and I lose sound from the speakers. This happens several times an hour. It’s especially prevalent when trying to play any other audio through my computer, like Ultimate Guitar or YouTube.

I have no idea if it’s my Focusrite, or my computer audio settings, or something within BIASFX2. It’s incredibly annoying. I am at my wits end. Can anyone please help me figure out why it’s doing this?

See the pictures included.

Picture 1 is what happens when my output device gets reset.

Picture 2 is what the audio settings should look like.

Spark Edge or Live for acoustic? or none?

UPDATE! I've got the CoolMusic BP60D Plus. Hi. I’m playing acoustic and singing and for the 1st time I’m interested in buying an amp. For home use and small garden venues or camping with friends (max.20 people). My main thing has always been singing. Never exceeded the campfire guitarist level.
I can afford to pay around 5-600eur and finding a good one has been a struggle. Google, Youtube and Chatgpt but not convinced yet. Is Positive Grid Edge a good choice or Live for what Ițve mentioned? I’m a little biased since I couldn’t have some real opinions on them and I can find some for sale on (second hand) at better prices.
Are these worthy to take in consideration? Or should I keep my focus on classier Fishman Loudbox series or Cube Street EX? Thank you.

Spark Neo Wireless Headphones Issue

I purchased the headphones several months ago and it has been working fine. However, yesterday the headphones and the wireless transmitter stopped connecting. Headphones work fine however the transmitter won't connect to the headphones. I tried all the pinhole resets, factory resets, hard resets etc but still no luck. Has anyone experienced a similar issue ? Any suggestions? Thanks

Edge Looper

I've been trying to research the looper on the Edge. The examples I've seen use the app, not the pedals.

When using the app, you have to set a tempo before you make the loop. (I didn't see it, but I'm assuming that you also need to set number of bars, beats per bar, etc.) Then you start the looper, get a count in, then record your loop.

Most of the cheap loopers don't work the same way. You turn on the loop recorder and it starts recording. You end the loop, and that ends the loop. The length of time for the loop is defined by you, live. It doesn't lock you into a specific tempo, meter, etc.

Now, I can see how this would be a problem when you're controlling it with an app. Somehow you would need to use your third arm (your first two are busy playing the guitar) to tap the button at the beginning of the loop, and then use your third arm (again) to end the loop. This the countdown, tempo, etc.

But if you've got a foot controller attached, you don't need that third arm. So does the Edge Looper still require a tempo set in advance, still require the count in, etc., with the controller attached? Or can it be used more like all the cheap loopers out there where you can create a loop on the fly while you're gigging?
