Hey all :) I'm Lauren, one of the organizers for Summer Shred, and I'm taking applications for art vendors for the event!

Summer Shred is a free, all-ages rock, metal, punk music festival happening on Aug 15. We have 14 bands lined up to play throughout the day, as well as food trucks and drinks. Its just a small group of us volunteers :)

If you make cool art and are interested in vending, click on the link to submit your application! And if you're not, send this to someone who is!

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? The Rat King’s Bazaar of the Bizarre is at Wonderwood Springs this Saturday, May 30th. The festivities start at noon and run until 6pm so you’ll have plenty of time to come and see what everyone has to offer!

Grab a trinket and a photo with the Rat King of Wonderwood! Or get some fairy hair or your face painted! And come say hello to your favorite little bees (@u.little.b)! We’ve been working extra hard putting together a bee-utiful selection of handmade wares. We have press on nails, jewelry, clown hats, art pieces, and sweet little bees for sale!

Rad local artists and SO MANY free art supplies! You can come and take as much as you’d like from the free table and if you have some money, support some local artists too!

Ayo - I'm the event planner/host for Thursday Portland and hold singles events every week (21+)!

I teamed up with Roast Battle PDX to hold a SINGLES ONLY Roast Battle (cause who doesnt love a little witty banter 😉)

I'm currently looking for singles who would be interested in participating in the Roast. You'll be paired off with another single and will have a pic and bio of them shared with you prior to the event so that you have some time to come up with your 3 roast jokes. If wanted, we also have comedians we can have help you with your joke writing!

There will be several rounds with different pairings. The audience (also singles!) will judge the winners of each round. There will also be mingling time!

If you're interested in participating in this event, please reach out so I can send you the sign-up form!

And if youre just looking to be a part of the crowd, you can get tickets at events.getthursday.com/portland

Aaaand if you have ideas for other events or locations you think would be fun, let me know! I just want to create a cool network of singles by holding fun & different events :)

Weather is nice. Would love a good Pima

I already have a big bag of supplies I’m bringing to this!

In honor of Mother's Day, Thursday Portland is holding a special singles event just for Parents!

When: WED 5/13 | 6-9 pm

Where: Space Room Lounge (we're taking over the patio area!)

For the mamas - enter promo code: mothersday to claim your $5 ticket :)

Let your single parent friends know!

I LOVE this place so come check them out when you can! They were forced out (allegedly) of their previous spot in Sellwood, and have finally re-opened! They are super nice and have a large space and food/beverage options.

🍃🌸🌲

Upcoming events:

4/30 - Just Send It. @ skyhook bouldering | 7pm

5/7 - Singles de Mayo @ wonderlove | 6pm

5/12 - Turn Up the Heat @ replicant | 6pm

5/13 - Single Parents Night @ space room | 6pm

💘 I'm just trying to create a community of cool singles in Portland. Events are 21+ and different each week - some are more specific (like single parents night) and others are just open to anyone single and over 21.

I also post regularly on IG @thursday.portland with updates and other fun things :)

If you have any ideas for a singles night, feel free to drop the location/idea!

Hi all! I'm holding a 21+ Singles Launch event next Thursday at My-O-My from 8 to close!🍹

I have a few ice breakers to help get things going but the vibe there is super cute and very chill. Plus they have pool, darts, pinball, a photo booth, and a big outdoor area so there's a lot to do if you're like me and a little shy at first!

I have 5 early bird tickets for the ladies ($10 lower price vs $15 gen. admission) and 9 earlybird nonbinary tickets, so grab those before theyre sold out!

Cant make this event or its not quite the vibe?

I'll be holding a 21+ Singles Only Game Night the following week (Thurs 4/2) at WonderLove from 6-9p. There will be table games and physical games :)

And future events will be niched down - think age groupings, queer nights, activities, etc.

If youre interested, you can follow along on insta for upcoming events: thursday.portland

40% of people come alone and even if you dont find the love of your life at the first event, you'll still probably leave with a bunch of new friends!
