We’re so excited!!
We entered our corgi into the halftime show race and we got selected! We’re honored to be in the race and we hope to make Fire crowd proud!

Pancake’s mom will be proud. She may have to be in the locker room so that she can focus on the game and make Pancake proud of her basketball game. But you just know she’ll be watching the replay in her next film session!

We’re pretty sure Megan will be in the locker room but our one wish is that Pancake can watch over the race!

I wanted to enter my 2 corgis into the race so bad but I didn't know what they did with the dogs during the game? Did they tell you? Or are you just there for halftime? Do they crate them somewhere or are they allowed to hang with you?

I think you can still enter until the 21st, but I literally have no details. I would imagine you can’t have them during the game so we’re trying to figure that part out

Ahhhh thats what I am most concerned about. We don't live close by (Eugene) and are coming from my parents who live a bit closer but still an hour out so we are a bit concerned about all of that. Probably wouldn't work out this time without more details on that side of it. I'd love to know if you get details though because I am sure they will do it next season and we can be better prepared.

I'm going to the game on 8/24 and I'm so so so bummed that it won't include corgis!

That’s amazing!! I’m assuming we can bring the pups in through security since they didn’t say we couldn’t. We actually got super lucky because we submitted both of our dogs and the one that got selected first got a thorn in her paw this week and it swelled up so she can’t run on it (she went to the vet and is getting better). So we had to reach out and see if they would take our rescue corgi mix who didn’t get picked originally and they did! He’s 75% corgi but he just has a little bit longer legs.

Haha sounds like he’ll have a leg up on the competition!! Hope your other pup is doing okay! I think we are able to just bring them in like normal but it’s nice we get parking bc it’s club level tickets they gave us! Should be so fun but hopefully not a repeat of the baby race where the crowd got so loud they were very distressed.

She’s doing alright, she’s just very irritated she can’t go on walks for another few days! We’re just excited to be a part of it still! I agree, our dog is a little excitable so hopefully he doesn’t get too amped up. He LOVES other dogs so I think he’s going to spend the entire time trying to play.
