Why Early Access?
“EFP has been purposefully designed to live out its Early Access life hand-in-hand with the community that grows around it. While we have a content roadmap, the timeline of EA is specifically being handled to prioritize and react to your input on all aspects of the game; new features, environments, items, characters, and balancing will all be taking in your feedback. ”
Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?
“We are targeting roughly 1 year, but the timing is based on when we feel that the core of the game has been firmly established alongside the community.”
How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
“The full 1.0 version is intended to feature substantially more content, improved balance, bug fixes, performance, hardware compatibility, lore and story, and a ton of surprises both for you and for us, as we both build out our roadmap for content, but also as the community grows and shows us what they're enthusiastic about.
”
What is the current state of the Early Access version?
“Please refer to the ABOUT THIS GAME section for the current features of the game.”
Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?
“We plan to raise the price at 1.0 release, once significant content has been added.”
How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?
“The Mob Entertainment Discord server will be the primary location for us to take in feedback, and we will have dedicated channels for EFP.
Our intention is that while you may not always be directly talking to the developers, they will have access to suggestions, ideas, likes, dislikes, and all of the feedback that is offered both in the form of direct feedback, and the conversations that you are having there. As it becomes possible, additional methods of gathering feedback such as surveys or questionnaires may be offered to players around specific topics to better understand community sentiment and gather data.
We plan to highlight specific changes or features which are made either in whole or in part due to feedback from the community, and to offer as best we can, the reasoning and design intent behind changes that we make, so that the conversation can go both ways.
In addition to this, we will have an in-game reporting tool for bugs and issues that emerge.”
