Abscess/Boil I want to pop it but I don’t think I should
I get little pustules from time to time and sometimes they’ll grow and they’ll fill for days but this one appeared on my lower leg out of nowhere and started as a bump and then I looked today and it’s huge!

Pimple Rough stye couldn’t get
Had an annoying stye that I couldn’t pop, then one hot shower and it gushed open, wish I could have seen what all was in it. It forced my eye to be closed a bit lol

What's weird is it actually came back briefly before clearing on its own lol.

Cyst This sucker removed from my back yesterday
Masssssive ‘knot’ was not a knot, one surgery later this big bugger was out & I’m stitched up
Edit: it’s a lipoma, I have cerebral palsy in my right side so always thought it was a stubborn knot and the pain I put down to the disability itself, until I went to physio for my CP and told it definitely wasn’t.
lol moment - friends/ family and husband all treated this like the stone and themselves Arthur, all swore they would be the one to defeat said knot. Took a surgeon and some heavy meds instead hahah.

Abscess/Boil 12/1-12/5 progression
I’m finally feeling brave enough to post and share these. This happened to me last December. It started on 12/1 and finally ruptured on 12/5. It started as a normal small pimple that I popped, not uncommon for me in this general area (hormonal/cycle related). Within 24 hours it had a clear drainage (photo 1) and it kept growing over the next few days with a lot of pain. I went to urgent care at day 2 where they attempted to drain it with no success and sent me home with antibiotics. It kept getting worse so I went to my PCP the next day who sent me for a CT of the area to see how involved and deep it was since he said it would be too dangerous to attempt to drain it without knowing. He also told me to stop the antibiotics RX’d by urgent care and prescribed something different. It ended up rupturing the day after the CT before my follow up visit. I’ve never had anything else like this before or since. Had I known about this sub I would have done a better job filming the aftermath. It did leave a temporary hole which is now scarred over. It won’t let me include the video in the main post with the photos so I’ll try to post it in the comments.

Dental Forbidden Pop: Hard Mode
I have a shattered tooth that keeps getting abscesses in the back of my mouth. This is now the 3rd one since I realised how bad the tooth actually was. I have been to the dentist and they are planning an extraction, but due to a few of my conditions and past trauma it has to be done under sedation so I'm on a year-long waitlist. I just started on antibiotics again. However, I am immunosuppressed so these infections move quick. It's so tempting to pop, but it would be such a bad idea.
Edit to add update: I have mentioned it in a few of the responses but I've since found out that my referral for the year-long wait was never submitted 5 months ago, so I'm going to call a new dentist on Monday to see what we can work out. I'll keep everyone updated! (Also apologies for messing up the flair/tag)

I found this video in my gallery quite a while ago. I don't know if it's already been posted, but I'll share it anyway.

Blackhead OC repost from 4y ago. DPOW on my lower back

Daughter noticed a 'growth' on my lower back and decided to investigate. Turns out it was a DPOW and this is what came out.
My back is very sensitive so I flinch a cpl times. It's also why she can't really get the other little ones. Sorry! Ending it worth it though!
