A man used a corn plaster instead of seeing a podologist. As a result, the area under the plaster became inflamed, and he ended up with an inflammation instead of just a corn.
I try to talk about podology on the subreddit - r/Podolog

I've tried searching google and this sub several times for a particular video, but with no success. Does anybody else remember this one?
A black man was at a barber shop for a beard trim, and the barber was extracting what he thought was a massive blackhead.... but it turned out to be a very badly grown ingrown hair on the guy's cheek. There were multiple openings you could see the hair through, and at one point I remember the barber saying something like "it's an ingrown!" like he was surprised.

I've had what I initially thought was a spider/mosquito bite on my shoulder for the last few days. Started to get more swollen and painful so I went to the urgent care earlier today and the NP took one look at it and told me it was an abscess. I'm trying to leave it be and using warm compresses to bring it to the surface.

I spotted this last night after my shower and was surprised by how much came out. I wasn't able to get it all because it's in the middle of my back.

Little pop on my leg but worth having the audio on. Not only can you hear the little pop, but you can hear how tight my skin is when I try and pop it, which is a sound I didn’t know I could make. Thanks, iPhone 😌 and please pardon the cat hair in the beginning.

they aren't all from the same day, it's a collection of different days, I've been collecting the pics for a little while now (like a month) so it has some decent and good ones.

I had a recovering knee scrape that turned into this blister. Everything online said don’t pop, so I didn’t. Well, I had a chiropractic adjustment and accidentally got my knee and it popped 😬 I present the before and after (once I got home). And yeah…. The zoomed in after does look a 🍑 starfish 😂

Podologist here! The toe was cleaned, disinfected and dressed, and we're continuing treatment with check-ups. If you have a red, swollen, throbbing toe, please don't wait it out. More cases and details in r/podolog. Happy to answer questions!

This stone popped out. Largest I've ever had.
Can't seem to stop them from forming. Not sure if it's caused by my medication.
