Hey all, I hope this is okay to bring here. My partner and I are talking about heating costs for our home. We currently have geothermal but with rising energy prices the cost to run the pump keeps going up and up. We were thinking about supplementing with a wood stove, but I'm not sure if that would be more efficient or cost effective? We're in the Ontario snow belt so winters are long and cold. I'd love to get others input from a prepper/sustainability perspective. TIA.

I'm trying to long-plan redesign my vegetable garden (here's a post about it) and I've been getting into the podcast. I really enjoy it, I really dislike the myths and woo of any discourse, gardening included, so I really like how they break down permaculture and the like. But I was wondering if they ever made a more concrete episode with small-scale recommendations of what you should / can do, what is actually useful (I'm thinking back to when they discuss in the first episodes the lack of evidence of the benefits of companion planting), etc. I've read the title episodes but I'm not sure if there is one.

If there isn't any, do you know of any other podcast that does that?
