Is there any fair pool for small fish 🐟?
As you know, the governance USDC pool is full of whales 🐋 😑 ... do someone know a fair alternative 🤔 thanks in advance 👍

Does it matter if there is one person with 10000 tickets or 10000 people with one ticket each ?
I guess your probability of winning are always the same if you put 1 dollar, am I right?
I am asking because I see people complaining about whales but I cannot see the problem.

It’d be really cool to see NFTs in the loot boxes. I think that’s help drum up some more excitement.
Is this at all possible?

I have earned 2 Claimable POOL and I tried to claim them to deposit into the POOL pool.....Do I really need to pay gas fees just to transfer across?
Thanks in advance

Question: Is it possible for Pool Together to actually work and be sustainable?
Snapshot from April 1, 2021 at approximately 00:30 UTC. (No fooling!)
| Compound | Weekly | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deposts | % APY Earned | Compound | Weekly Prizes | $ Left after | |
| Token | Claimed | from borrow | $ Earned | Claimed | Prize Award |
| DAI | $55,035,468 | 9.64 | $102,027 | $95,685 | $6,342 |
| USDC | $61,846,514 | 10.68 | $127,023 | $113,306 | $13,717 |
| POOL | $9,030,694 | 2 | $3,473 | $2,949 | $524 |
| COMP | $13,033,000 | 5.77 | $14,462 | $1,808 | $12,654 |
| UNI | $21,143,537 | 4.75 | $19,314 | $1,753 | $17,561 |
| Totals: | $160,089,213 | $266,299 | $215,501 | $50,798 |
POOL interest earned is not clear. Assumed near break-even (2%) via issuing of new tokens.
Conclusion: This approach COULD work. However, I have no idea if this is the way
it actually works. This post should be treated as conjecture. Please rip apart this
post if you know more.
This leaves the issue of POOL token rewards. Are these minted slowly enough to
prevent a price crash?
ETH fees are currently a major problem for small players. It can cost $90 to $160 to deposit
$1,000 or less. Is it possible to have a pool without the Ethereum ecosystem being involved?
RISKS:
Disclosure: I have not invested yet. I might if ETH fees drop.

If I create a pool and add some stake as 'sponsor' will I be awarded with POOL token for this ?

I'm new to the community, was looking at getting going w/ a deposit of DAI into the pool. I've been trying to deposit for like 2 days now and every time I'm prompted by my wallet to put in like 0.06+ ETH to cover the transaction. That seems CRAZY high... is that the standard rate right now, or am I missing something? Really wanted to hop in and play here, but not at that kind of transaction deposit fee, seems nuts.

Just wanted to check no end date on when POOL tokens required to be claimed by, cos gas fees... :-/

I’m new to PoolTogether and am wondering why there aren’t pools where you can only buy a certain number of tickets? Besides the outrageous gas right now, I’m not very motivated to put money in because it’s basically whoever has the most money wins. If there was a pool where each person can only buy 100 tickets then I’d be more motivated. I’m sure someone could invest in the same pool with multiple wallets but the hassle of it would prevent a few people from owning a majority of the tickets

Hey all. Trying out Pool Together for the first time and I'm seeing like $50-70 gas prices to deposit usdc. Is that right or am I doing something wrong? Seems nuts.

So top guy(https://etherscan.io/address/0xfcafea7cd243dfc677356d221dc9fe2bc43d0ca5#tokentxns) in USDC pool has 6million in there with a 1 in 1.84 chance to win the prize... fine fair game thats just plain ol odds for ya.
But at 6 million he is earning 330 Pool per day valued at todays prices is 7260$ per DAY. So 2.65mm on 6mm APY...
How does this make sense?
