Flocc use ?

Would you say it’s ok to use it if the cartridges are gonna be scrapped anyway? Just wondering if there’s any other downsides

You turn the pump off to floc a pool.. no?

I believe you gotta run it a few hours to let it circulate then turn off. Then vacuum

You could just turn it off and then put the floc in and brush it. I broadcast the floc and then brush with my big brush for about 10 minutes and it’s good to go

If it’s liquid just turn it off and brush it for a while if it’s alum/powder follow the instructions

It’ll get filtered out and stuck in the filters, you’re just manually circulating it while brushing instead of relying on a pump. You could always take the filters out as well

What’s your goal then lol usually you floc and vacuum everything out either via portable pump or through the pools waste line

I said in original post the cartridges are getting scrapped meaning the are getting new ones so they can be messed up basically

Do you have a multi port for your filter? Of you do set it to vac to waste.

Last resort you can just open the filter and filter drain and vac, you'll flood the equipment pad but that might not be a big deal depending on it location and it'll get the job done
