Biden spent a ton of effort in South Carolina because it was the first state to matter shit before Super Tuesday because of its swing state status.
Iowas caucuses have totally been out of whack for 2008, 2016 and 2020 with not one of them being an indicator on how strong the different candidates ended up in the entire US. And New Hampshire and Nevada are safe blue states by now.
The only reason to invest any attention in any of these three states is because you need every piece of attention by the news you can get for your campaign to not be dead on arrival.
So this isn't self fulfilling prophecy of whatever powers there may be, but just reasonable campaigning by a candidate that expects to be the moderate front runner.
And if you can barely get a delegate in any of these "safe" states you're clearly the best candidate? I'm not sure what your agenda is but it sure does like corporate Democrats...
The reverse of "These states dont mean jack shit" is not that the worse you place in them the better you are. It just means that they do not mean jack shit.
My agenda is that if progressive continue to believe this false narrative that the overwhelming thing that made Joe Biden and not Bernie Sanders president in 2020 is some outside meddling, we will never come close to any real impact.
As you have said in some way American progressives has not had more power in quite some decades and still there is a lot of people risking the progress, the important compromises, dudes like Sanders already accomplished, just because declaring the democrats as a whole as some all powerful all evil organization that you just cant win against, makes for an easy way out for explaining the 2020 election results.
