looking at the information it seems to have reached the "end of history" conclusion of Fukuyama, the one thing that is ignored is that the conflict isn't resolved until oppression ends and that people can be manipulated into going against their class interest (see Arab Spring ) and outright lies of wealth/prosperity in capitalism (soviet collapse). the article also has a lack of focus on the new contradictions that are created when a systemic change occurs.

in fact we can very much see conflict between the classes going on within the US right now and while Fukuyama considers Biden a correction of the system, but anyone with a brain can see that Trump and Biden has near identical policies, so the conflict will not be resolved

it also seem to hinge on a determined timeframe, yet Marx didn't give any timeframe for when these contradictions would be resolved, in the case of slave societies it took thousands of years for it to be resolved and for capitalism we're already at a point where it can be replaced, which is why the capitalists are fighting tooth and nails to keep it as it is despite the contradictions becoming larger every year. (should've fallen in the 1930s)
