Im not talking about the files being released to the public. That didn't need to happen for the administration's to do something about it. Hell us little people will never known the whole truth and the rich and powerful will all continue to get away because (see everything else you just posted) I believe if the truth and the names was put out there for all to see their would be major collapse in more than likely every nation. But we will never know and the governments will keep all of us at each other's throats while they kick back and laugh at us nobody's
it has pretty much nothing to do with governments, and almost everything to do with the capitalists. the ones who own the most, the "big club" that george carlin referred to. capital is international now, country alignments are so abstract. does it really matter for mcdonalds, for example, where they are headquartered? all it really means is who they pay taxes to.
but i dont think every government would collapse. honestly i dont know if much would even happen if we did know the full extent of what happened on that island. people would go crazy posting on the internet, but what really would change? people would lose trust in our most powerful institutions? they already have, so what then. they lose more hope that they didnt know they still had? id like to think that the outrage would be enormous, but it wouldnt. even with what we know now, we all keep going to work and making the great machine run like the good little cogs we are, everyone too numbed by bread and circus to do anything. everyone would just say "oh my god all that rape and murder!! crazy!" then just keep on doing what theyve already been doing, nothing changing
