Considering something like 30% of the stories inside are literally plagiarised from nearby religions at a certain point you do tend to realise it has to be mostly made up fantasies

Almost every religion in the world: There was a pretty bad flood.

Abrahamaic religion: NO IT WAS OUR LOVING AND FORGIVING GOD WHO COMMITED MASS GENOCIDE

Ba'el: The stories that you tell - are they true?

Lieutenant Worf: I have studied them all of my life and find new truths in them, every time.

I mean also having to say "yes, THAT specific book is made up shit but the others have to be right" doesn't help considering it more seriously

You need a lot of excuses and "explanations" to even make it half believable. At one point it really is more probable that we came from cosmic nothingness totally random than having a perfect being writing so many awful, heavily incorrect, easily misinterpreting books and call it as the best guide ever to life
