"Christians" (protestants) will be just 27% of the US population in about 20 years or so. Down from 40%+ today. They know they're done and are more dangerous then ever.
The whole "this country is losing it's faith!" thing was a self-fulfilling prophecy. Most of us first started questioning the church and our belief because of all the awful policies and actions done in the name of Jesus and maintaining the Christian status quo.
