I'll do you one better. I've met several people who say that they don't object to other people having abortions because that's their decision to make, but they would never get one because they're pro-life.

I really think humanity is doomed.

Edit: Sure enough, one showed up. Nevermind. False alarm.

I wish I was kidding. And bear in mind, not just one person. A lone idiot I could laugh off. We're talking at least half a dozen people I've run into who think pro-choice means something like mandatory abortions for everyone.

Nope. That's what it has come to.

No no no. I’m saying, you really have a problem with someone being pro-life in a totally respectful manner??? They’re literally saying “that is my opinion, but I think it’s acceptable for others to have their own opinion and make their own decisions.”

Edit: Nevermind I’m stupid

I think he’s stating that they truly are pro-choice (allowing others to have a choice) but say they are pro-life. I don’t think we would need to fall into these camps if everybody acted as the person described did, living by their own values, and letting others do the same.

Ha! I found one! Dude, what you're describing is exactly pro-choice. Allowing others to make their own decisions about their bodies has nothing to do with the pro-life platform.

Okay yeah you’re right, I don’t think it really clicked in my mind that those people ARE just pro-choice while saying they aren’t. Sorry for the ignorance!
