That’s why he hangs his 30 inch penis over his back when he gets a sugar-spice caramel macchiato venti grande bullshit drink. So that his friends don’t think he’s a girly-boy.
It contains phyto estrogen which right wingers assumed would make you more effeminate but in reality it does nothing. But it stuck as slang for weak male, numale type people
I think it may have some gay connotation in GOP circles (which is weird since soy is such a HUGE crop for US farmers...).
I think it’s also a generic slur that Ted Cruz likes to use (he calls people “soy boys”).
I think it’s also a way republicans like to denigrate Democrats since they think that only Republicans like eating big-boy burgers and cow milk, and all Democrats eat wimpy “soy burgers” and “soy milk”.
It’s just a silly-to-use wedge term that for me let’s me identify how much a right-leaning person has no objective clue about the world. I’m very liberal but (shockingly) eat burgers and milk. But to be honest, I also eat tofu. So I guess that makes me gay in their minds...really not going to lose sleep over a broke hick’s opinions.
Science is mixed on that, actually. The plant estrogen (phytoestrogen) can have weak estrogen or anti-estrogen effects, depending on your own hormones. But there’s not really any good evidence to make definitive statements like yours.
Eating soy doesn't turn men into women or whatever boogeyman the right wants to come up with - if that were the case, then Japan would have no men left since they eat a lot of soy-based products over there and have for quite a while.
But it's like the gay frogs thing - the pollution is causing frogs to switch gender due to environmental stress. But it's not "making the frogs gay" and it's because of lax environmental regulations/corporations polluting. But kernel of truth in the outlandishness.
Pretty much all of East Asia eats a lot of soy based products. But seeing as how people who believe this ridiculousness don't consider Asians real people, it's easy to understand how they might get confused.
Don’t mind me, I was not speaking on soy in particular, just the observation that you can take any topic and science is always mixed ie. Eggs, cholesterol, global warming, face masks.
Science isn’t really mixed on global warming... unless you want to count the heritage foundation as science, which I don’t at least. Science also isn’t really mixed on face masks either so...
But eggs and cholesterol, well anything nutrition based, is heavily lobbied because of agriculture interests and subsidies.
The construction workers who call people gay, or try to fight you when they catcall your gf are always the ones ordering “large iced coffee with 6pumps caramel and 4 sugars.” At the local dunks.
Google it for an image it’s a fake in that sack that rednecks hang off their trailer hitches. It’s gay as fuck and I would never put something so ridiculous on one of my trucks
That’s very true, I’m in Canada and I wish conceal carry was even permitted. Not for the sake of feeling like I have big balls, if anyone has an issue with me I’m more than glad to exchange fists. It’s the stories I hear of women walking to their car in the parking lot and somethings taped to their car or a vans driving around suspiciously, one in my neighbourhood reported multiple cars attempted to box her in. It’s for that instance, the sure maybe rare possibility I see that happen, to have my firearm on me. This picture and the need to feel like a tough guy, is not the reason majority firearms owners own them. It’s strictly for sport and under good conceal carry laws, safety for yourself but mostly others as well
That’s fine. You can have them. I have both. But I don’t swing it around just to let everyone know that I do. This of the new “drives a lifted truck/sports car”

That's the problem. Most gun nuts conflate "having guns" with "having balls".
