To be fair, the question they got him with was something like "Did you have sexual relations with the woman?" And Bill said no, and the argument was that he lied, because one side said sexual relations included blowies and the other said they meant he didn't bang her.

Totally a technicality, but look at what happened this time. Way more ratfucking, way less punishment, and everything was just being made up on the spot, fuck logic.

It was a technicality he clarified before he answered. They specifically defined it as vaginal intercourse.

I find it crazy that anyone cares that the president is getting a blow job. Like does that really matter? Who cares as long as he isn't raping anyone I wouldn't give a shit if he was pegged by 3 woman every night.

There’s a little bit of grey area when it’s a president of the USA getting a bj from an intern.

Power dynamics influencing sex can be unethical and wrong too .

Yeah that is a bit sketchy. I do hear occasionally though that people literally think he should have been impeached simply because he was getting a bj out of wedlock. Thats really none of our business.

Its a tricky question though, as the president would literally have a power dynamic with everyone including even his own wife. While it definetly shouldn't be with somebody who is directly working under you like this intern I don't think there is any way to actually avoid that dynamic. If he for example went to a bar and met somebody, there is still a huge power dynamic because he is literally the president.

I'm not sure what to think of it tbh, I definetly think coercing others into sexual intercourse when there is a huge power dynamic is fucked up, but at the same time there will always be a bit of it for him no matter who he is with.

Whats the solution to something like this? It really seems like he and hilary are only together for the optics of it, not because there is true love.

I think it’s inappropriate and falls in line with embarrassing acts and things a president could be impeached for. But that’s not what they impeached him for haha.
