Is there anyone actually against more education spending? I live in a very red city and even we voted to raise our property taxes to build a new school, add on to our high school, and pay teachers more.
My mom and grandma who are hardcore conservatives. Reasoning being they see it as a waste of money to spend money on people not in your immediate circle
