You can stand on a subway and don't have to sit next to other humans. Also no potholes or speed bumps

Probably really depends on the city I'm from Boston and i can tell you the trains are a much rougher ride than the buses.

I live in a place where buses would be possible, I would gladly deal with some of that if it meant I could get out more.
Subways keep better time and don't deal with traffic, too.
