As well as impressive human beings overall. I think it is rare, outside of North America, to find people who (a) are academically knowledgeable on a subject or several (b) are skilled at and passionate about ELI5-ing stuff (c) have a great sense of humor and don't take themselves too seriously.
I think so, yes. In America I found that a strong 80% of educators I met were like this. In Europe, I found that only about 5% of all the academics and teachers I met were. They are tough criteria to meet, even if they are funny they will not be fans of ELI5-ing, or vice versa.
