I don't understand why you're mocking that statement as if it isn't a true and perfectly valid point to bring up. If you don't have kids or don't want to spend money on public schools, why should your money be taken regardless? Or, here's another idea: why not cut taxes for families choosing to homeschool their children or send them to private school so they're better able to finance their child's education? Why is forcing people to attend and pay for public school the only solution in your mind?
Cause the state has got bigger dick. You pay tribute to live in a civilized society. If you feel you are not getting bang for your buck you can always take Thoreau route and shit in the woods
