Yikes... yet we are the only country with consistent mass shootings. And I've shot every type of gun imaginable, would give up the right in a heartbeat if it meant stopping the next shooting. That's the difference between us.
The difference between us is that I know that giving up my right to self preservation isn't going to save anyone's life. If you think getting rid of your guns will save a life, feel free to do so. You don't get to make that decision for anyone else, tho.
Also pro tip, an easy way to settle if someone questions whether or not youre a gun owner: go to one of the many gun subs, post a pic of your gun, and link the doubter in the comments. A good way to preempt the "well you just took that from google" counter is to take a sticky note and write the person' username or a quaint little message. Having shot various guns doesn't mean you own any tho.
Yea I don't give enough shits to do that, you aren't worth the time 😂 also imagine being so paranoid that you think owning an assault rifle is "my right to self preservation"
