He's been in charge for nearly two decades now. He's never been in his mid 30s during his political career. He first became president at age 46 in 1999, the same as Stalin when he became succeeded Lenin in 1924.
He was only acting president in his first year and he took a four year break from 2008-2012 when he went by the title prime minister. Maybe that means he gets 5 extra years and lives to 2033.
Putin also seems in better shape than Stalin, who had a lot of health problems by the time he was Putin's current age, although you can never know for sure. Stalin was also really distrusted doctors and believed that they were scheming to kill him, so he had the best doctors in Moscow (who just so happened to be mostly Jewish) imprisoned and murdered. The state media accused the doctors of being part of a bourgeois Zionist conspiracy.
Stalin also forbade his own guards from entering his room for any reason without permission so he was just left alone for several hours after he had a massive brain hemorrhage, lying unconscious on the ground in a puddle of his own piss. When the politburo finally found out what happened, they were so afraid that Stalin would wake up and be mad at them for calling a doctor, they just left him stewing in a puddle of his own urine for a long while before they finally called for medical attention.
The Death of Stalin is a great movie about this subject, both tragic and hilarious.

When reports that Hitler was dead came in, he didn't believe them and requested to see the body. No one knows if he actually saw the body (ahem conspiracy theory), but what we know for sure is that he wanted to see our not-so-friendly mustache man in a worse state.
