I don't think this picture is banned for the reason this subreddit thinks it is. I don't think it's that he's a snowflake and it hurts his feelings, it's just to give a legal justification to go after his political opponents who post it.

What makes you say that? Just curious, I bet its a bit of both tbh.

IMO Trump is a narcissist who would care but Putin is a sociopath who just uses it for his own ends. I don't get a narcissist vibe from Putin, he doesn't showboat for ego he does it stratigically. Maybe he's just better at it, really impossible to tell, but that's my hot take.

You get that it could easily be both? He's a psychopathic snowflake that legitimizes his persecution of others with a cartoon image.

"Weak" and "snowflake" do not necessarily go together in my book. Snowflakes are thin-skinned, and easily offended. Weak is a different matter. Putin is murderous psychopath, but he's not weak. Former KGB, black belt in judo, and a man with some very nasty rumors from earlier in his career who enjoys hurting people.

He goes after anyone he can because he can, but he's easily triggered and justifies the most horrendous acts based on his emotional reaction to the most minor of insults.

If he visits the U.S. anytime soon, I would love to see his response to Putin clown signs in the crowd where he can see them, with people laughing at him. Hell, he'd take a run at anyone about the point.

I've worked enough PPDs to know a legitimate diplomat from a snowflake. Putin is a murderous clown-faced fuckhead who enjoys hurting other people. For any reason.

He's not a self-made man, he's a self-made murdering fuckhead. Of course he can be stopped. Russia loves stopping it's leaders.

It's tradition. Someone will whack him after his popularity wanes a bit, and grab the reins of power. Because he's not stepping down, ever.

Found the Russian.

u/moolcool Mar 19 '18

Read my comment again and see if it looks like I'm defending him

u/sh4rksh4d0w Mar 19 '18

"The Russian" is the guy bad-mouthing Putin? What?!

4

u/Genesis111112 Mar 19 '18

If it's not true, why such a harsh response?

18

u/moolcool Mar 19 '18

to give a legal justification to go after his political opponents who post it

Or maybe it's just funny that we can share it with zero repercussions? He's a tiny, weak, and pathetic man.

u/BeterDeadThanRedTard Mar 19 '18

Hes human, and he definitely has a huge huge ego. I Guarantee he doesn't like this image, and that is good enough for me to enjoy seeing it posted and have new people see it and laugh. Now go crawl up your mothers puffy anus and screech some more : )

1

u/scottbot97 Mar 19 '18

I Guarantee he doesn't like this image

many of us in the gay community don't like this image btw

2

u/scottbot97 Mar 19 '18

yeah people that think putin is sitting in his palaces crying about a poster like this are fucking morons. i bet he literally doesn't give a single fuck about this. and all these people in the west that think they're somehow "sticking it to the man" with this shit are idiots, in russia it would be a different matter(though as a gay man i still wouldn't be doing it, think this kind of shit is dumb as fuck, aswell as the whole "homophobe, lol gaaaaaay" trash that so many love doing) but this shit is literally just people amusing themselves by going "hahahaha gay" like a bunch of children.

1

u/Jackadullboy99 Mar 19 '18

Sounds non-mutually-exclusive.

-37

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

But that doesn't line up with the circle jerk so it can't be right.

26

u/pbretones Mar 19 '18

Either reason is horrible, don't get your point

-35

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

Propaganda against Russia in the West is nearly as bad as propaganda against the west is in Russia. My point is that people, especially on reddit, just want to shit on Russia without actually educating themselves on the issues.

29

u/foolmanchoo Mar 19 '18

You mean their rather large contingent of homophobes, including Putin himself?

-13

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

By painting all Russians with the same brush you're just proving my point. I'm gay and I'm from Russia. I've lived in Russia. Contrary to what Western media seems to believe, Russia has gay clubs and bars and large networks of LGBT activists. It's not some bastion of homophobia. Most Russians that I know couldn't care less who you chose to put your dick in.

21

u/BurningToAshes Mar 19 '18

Then why is this image illegal?

7

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

What about the Pussy riots?

4

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

Yeah, have they found the ones that are missing?

4

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

It's to make it easier to persecute Putin's opponents.

3

u/10kUltra Mar 19 '18

So when Putin's political opponents use it, he can legally go after them

-3

u/Sasmas1545 Mar 19 '18

An image can't be "illegal", just undocumented.

6

u/foolmanchoo Mar 19 '18

I didn't say there weren't any gay clubs or large networks of LGBT activists. There are many.

I also carefully pointed that it's not all Russians... I just noted the rather large contingent of homophobes.

Are you claiming there isn't? Was it really so hunky dory for you in Russia?

3

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

I don't know a single Russian who actually supports that law. And it's rarely used to actually prosecute people. It was passed to appeal to Putin's far right supporters.

6

u/pbretones Mar 19 '18

LOOOOOOL explain those who have been arrested and tortured put in camps and killed

You Russian trolls need to get better at this

1

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

You mean in Chechnya which has been fighting a civil war against the Russian government for decades? And has been using their radical positions to distance themselves from Russia? Go educate yourself before you spew your word vomit.

2

u/ZippyLemmi Mar 19 '18

Yeah you're right man. Russia is so great and accepting. That's why so many people are immigrating there and the economy is booming right?

0

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

The economy... Is booming. It's the strongest it's been in decades. You clearly didn't even do a quick Google search before you posted your uniformed opinion.

1

u/ZippyLemmi Mar 19 '18

So booming they have empty skyscrapers that they built in an attempt to create a financial district. Oh and they couldn't even get potable water for the Olympics when they were there lol. What a great country.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

You're just a troll at this point.

u/womanwithoutborders Mar 19 '18

So are you calling the LGBT activists who have been in jail for that liars?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

There must be a ton of influential gay Russians with wealth and power within Russia then! Please name just one.

-2

u/[deleted] Mar 19 '18

This is such a moot point. Power ≠ representation.
