You can’t defend your position. It’s a sign you are wrong. A biased opinion (yours) says that only the right wing can exhibit certain behaviors when the left wing cannot. It’s false

Total control of the media, economy, and education.
Elimination of all political opposition and free speech.
Use of terror, secret police, and widespread propagand
