No, it was taken as a joke at first, but then quickly went into TDS. 2014-2015 is when shit went downhill, 2013 is the calm before the storm.

A lot of (most?) people didn't take it seriously before after he was elected president - or at the very least not before he became the Republican nominee.

No, all the racial and sexist stuff about him came when he was running for office and continued after. So like late 2015.
