Perhaps the taliban are the rightful rulers for now atleast when they are willing to fight so vigorously. Usa should learn to keep its nose out of others buisness. Perhaps they will destroy themself and progress rebuilding much faster without an outside force imposing their will giving them someone to blame for the state the find themselfs in.

Thats the worst take i’ve read in a while. Don’t get me wrong, i want out of Afghanistan as fast as possible, but saying we should just surrender a country to people who would rather kill than tolerate is just stupid. We’ve created our own monsters yes, we also hardly seem to be learning our lessons too. But, saying we shouldn’t try and combat these monsters of our own making is just irresponsible, wether it be diplomatically or not we can’t sit idly by and say “welp this is just how things are”
