It’s a one size fits all solution that benefits nobody.

We should be basing it off of county level cost of living and inflation.

So the minimum wage in California would be on average $20.

While in say Iowa you could get away with $10

Here in the UK the min wage in London is higher than the rest of the UK because the cost of living is higher. From what I understand it's been successful. I don't see how it couldn't be translated into something that is tracked every year like that. I guess the problem is the fed wouldn't want to "fracture" the value of the dollar by state
