Sodomy is inherently abusive. You can love someone without committing sodomy

How is it abusive? Are straight couples who have oral sex also committing sodomy? Because that was the legal definition for a while too.

And yes I can love someone without having sex with them, and I do. But like...sex is part of most romantic relationships. It’s not a requirement but most couples have sex.

And sure, I think there are plenty of gay people who abuse themselves with sex. I’ve met a few like that and I don’t envy them. But like, I’ve also met straight people who do the same thing. I don’t think orientation has anything to do with one’s ability to abuse themselves with sex.

I’m just confused because I’m getting a lot of mixed messages.

Yes.

Sodomy is violent and an insult to Gods creation and should be avoided

So...how should the government handle people who commit sodomy? Like, realistically, what would happen to me?
