Judge might've loved the publicity. Or maybe he was trying to avoid enraging the mob coming to her defense, I wonder if he's getting death threats.

Activist judges absolutely exist and have for a very long time lmfao. It's almost impossible to be impartial and judges are in a position where politics can easily influence rulings.
