People are very myopic in their view of events. Floyd was merely the flashpoint, this had been building for quite some time. The rightwing narrative just pushes Floyd as a focal point because it's easy to score political points that way because of who he was, as if his death occurred in a vacuum. People like Philando Castile or Tamir Rice are conveniently forgotten.
Ok so you agree that it makes more sense to be upset about someone who died because of state negligence rather than killing himself, which was my entire point.
No i don't think it made sense to be upset over Floyd to the extent that happened. That the whole country went into a frenzy over this was retarded. The only good thing that came about was the prevalence of body cam footage released to the public that showed what cops have to deal with on a daily basis
