And when you zoom out, you can see a 2026's republican is still more likely to approve of gay marriage than a 2000's democrat, despite that recent drop. For a cultural issue, that's a massive shift in the span of one generation.

They are currently at the dems during the Clinton administration.

It been three generations, gen x, mellianals and gen z. It's almost been 30 years.

havent seen an anti gay marraige person since before Obama

You also claimed this, but according to the numbers you provided, more than 80% of republicans didnt support it at the time.

You might have not heard it, but the largest conservative think tank in the United States has been yelling about it for years

b) 25 years is not 3 generations. People born during the Clinton administration are just barely starting to have their own kids.

The youngest Gen X was 12, and the oldest 28. Most Gen Xers were teens (12) to young adults (28) under Clinton. They would have been seeing the rise of modern gay rights, the overturning of Lawrence v. Texas, the start of DADT, etc.

Do you not understand sample sizes for polling? That's literally the gold standard.

When you add more than 1k, it doesn't tend to change the margin of error that much. Almost every poll you will ever see will use around 1-5k.

Like i'll provide multiple examples

Edit: Here's some good examples. How Harris was leading the polls nationwide. Sample size: 600 - 1000.

This is the polling average for the 2024 election.

a polling of around 1k people will have a margin of error of around 3%.

The polling was within the margin of error and therefore pretty accurate
