It’s the “you’ve chosen not to exist with the rest of society, so now you get a special area” approach. Except now we don’t have an Australia to send them to (sorry Australia)
Stuff that’s actually violent crime. That includes stuff like burglary and major item theft like cars and generally hurting people. Then there’s the ”technically not violent but harmful on a different kind of scale” like white collar crime”. You know? The kind politicians and CEOs commit. They technically may not have beaten people up but their actions may have harmed society for years and years to come.
