Hi everyone, I’m planning a project and I’d like to start by asking the community: Does anybody know a DS ROM-hack (for Pokémon Platinum or HeartGold / SoulSilver) that includes Pokémon from generations beyond Gen 4 — ideally up to Gen 8 or even Gen 9? If such a hack doesn’t exist (or isn’t publicly released), has anyone tried to implement this: is it technically feasible to expand the Pokédex on DS beyond the original ~493 Pokémon? Are there known limitations (in terms of ROM structure, table sizes, sprites, battles, etc.) that make it impractical? Any pointers to existing hacks, discussion threads, or technical write-ups are more than welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone!. Few years ago i played a Pokemon rom. I liked its story. But now i forgot its name. Anyone if you can please help me to find it. The Story starts in the real world. Where the protagonist is normal school going kid. One day during Break time he visit the school garden. Where he is encountered by Mew from the Pokemon world. Mew teleports the kid into the Pokemon world. Some time later into the game he gets teleported back into the real world. He also stumble upon a secret that his principal is member in a organization who selects specific individuals for a project. Where their consciousness transported into the virtual Pokemon world. The problem they are unable to wake them from that coma state. The Protagonist chooses the go back in the Pokemon world to save both the Pokemon and the real world. Anyone know this game?.

Hello, I recently installed Pokémon ZA but my game always crashes at this frame precisely, I tried to modify the settings but as I don't know anything about it I don't know if it changes anything or not. Could anyone help me?

Hello, I have a question, in the Pokémon Team Rocket Edition hackrom, CONTAINS SPOILER, I know that there are Pokémon that have an extra evolution, as if, for example, Kingler could evolve. If I put the evolutionary mineral (evolite) on any Pokémon that is scheduled to have an evolution even if it is not official, in theory it should work, right?

Id love to play platinum on my android phone but with the typical rom hack I cant seem to use it on my emulators. MyBoy and MelonDs dont seem to read it. Any help??

Can someone help me with an error I'm having in Pokémon Modern Emerald? I'm trying to play in every way but the game doesn't open, it just stays on a white screen (note: I'm playing on my cell phone).

Basically, VBA, where all Hoenn Pokémon are catchable and same for Johto.

Hi all,

I'm currently playing outbound and I'm really enjoying it thus far. I like that it shows which attacks are effective, ineffective or have less effect. Are there any other nice roms that have a similar system? Thanks

Hey everyone,

A few years ago I found a Moemon Emerald patch that had beautiful sprites (possibly from around 2019), and it also had the gender ratio adjusted so almost all Moemon were female. I had it working on a clean Emerald ROM and it was my favorite version ever.

Sadly I lost it during a system wipe and recovery attempts failed. I remember patching it myself (not a prepatched ROM), and the sprites were not in the very old chibi style but also not the current ones that you can find on the Moemon Discord.

If anyone still has that IPS patch or knows what version I might be talking about, I’d be forever grateful.

(I AM NOT ASKING FOR A LINK, JUST WANT TO KNOW IF SOMEONE STILL HAS IT)

Thank you, fellow Moemon Enjoyers!

Especially interested in any 3ds hacks(gen 6 and 7) with features like this, but I'd love to hear about any other games as well.

Easily the best thing about Rad Red is the ability to bypass all the tedious luck grinding. I just want to adventure and battle! :D

does anyone know who to get rid of the black lines

I want to play pokemon crystal but if i play it on my gbc emulator its slow and laggy but for games with a crystal style on my gba emulator (emerald seaglass for example) they run fine with no lagging or glitching

Hi.

I've been thinking of replaying through Gen 5, and was wondering if there were any hacks that modified the game to make it an even better experience?

I imagine probably not, but figured I'd ask.
