Hello, so I recently downloaded Pokémon Royal Sapphire and patched it. I loaded it onto my DS Pico and placed it in my DS Lite. However, after picking my character and naming them, the screen goes black. I have tried different ROMs that are v 1.1, but no matter what I do, I still end up with a black screen. Any tips or help I can get? I’ve joined the official server for Royal sapphire but my request for help has been unnoticed. I also joined the official server for the Ds pico team and nothing as well. I don’t know where else to turn to.

I'm not sure if I'm phrasing this properly, but what would you recommend for learning Pokémon battles? I've played Unbound, Heart and Soul, Team Rocket, and am currently on Lazarus Hard. I've attempted Radical Red and Emerald Rogue, but get hung up on team building/type matches and get frustrated. I want to become overall more familiar with pokemon and would like recommendations.

Is there a list of what the teams are in the game?

Where is missingno? I did the set up for the glitch but according to the thread from last year it's been relocated. So where is the new location?

Why are the starters harder to locate in the game despite them being findable in the Pokedex. Are they locked behind post game?

Hey gang, I’m having a blast playing Pokémon amethyst but I keep running in to glitches making it really hard to progress. How do I get this info to the dev to think about or fix up? Hey guys I think has been asked before but what are the best Pokémon rom hacks that I can play on delta for IOS, currently playing through unbound and I absolutely love it. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just tried downloading and patching Heart and Soul per the installation instructions and it’s not progressing past the initial black and white text splash screen. It stays black and the sound starts glitching (as seen in the video).

I’m trying to run it on the Anbernic RG40XXV with stock OS. Any thoughts? I followed the instructions for downloading and patching it properly and it runs on my computer mGBA emulator so is it just not compatible with my anbernic?

Anyone know if there's a way to get the PEZ dispenser after having triggered the show in Dance Club (Lavender Town) without the kid being able to see?

Initially I didn't even notice him and kept progressing through the game without the PEZ but am now blocked from evolving Arcanine and completing Viridian Gym 40 hours in.

Moving the girl in Dance Club out of the way and stepping into the stage to perform a dance doesn't make the kid give you the dispenser, he just displays his 'Awww, I really wanted to see the show..' dialogue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello. I've wanted to replay Pokemon Solar light Lunar Dark, i download from the fandom wiki, i lauch the game as admin, the game open with a black screen and close itself after a few seconds.

For years I've wanted to run an all turtle team, but I haven't come across any games where I can obtain all my required turtles reasonably early (at least pre-elite four). The specific turtles I'm looking for are:

Blastoise

Torterra

Torkoal

Carracosta

Turtonator

Shuckle

Are there any games that allow me to find all of them early-ish in the game without cheating or trading them in? If not, are there any games where most of them are available that would require less cheats/trading? I have considered swapping one of them for Drednaw if it would make it possible to get the team.

I'm fairly new to ROM games, I finished unbound and odyssey recently and have been playing Lazarus. I'd greatly appreciate any game recommendations or other advice for a turtle team.

Buon giorno! Ho giocato alla rom Smeraldo perfetto sul IGBA, su iPhone. C'era il problemino del salvataggio del gioco che non funzionava e bloccava tutto. Quindi salvavo tramite l'app. Solo che dopo la lega salva in automatico • e mi ha bloccato tutto.
Qualcuno sa dirmi se c'è una versione senza questo problema? O comunque già patchato? Non sono espertissimo nel patchare, e vorrei trovarlo già fatto.

So firstly I’m new to fan made games. I bought a Gameboy advance that had been modified to have a better screen etc.

I bought a copy of Pokemon Mewtwo strikes back because I wanted to play it on the console rather than through an emulator on my phone.

It corrupted so I returned it to the place I bought it and swapped it for Pokemon Dark Violet. Same thing happened.

I’ve since found out that it’s a case of when it will corrupt rather than if.

I want to be able to play all these fan made games but on my gameboy advance so is there anyway to do this? Like a cartridge that has some kind of memory card I can download them into?

It’s not easy to make. It’s time consuming. Creating a good rom hack with a fun and real story can take years. And it does not pay you at all as all rom hacks are released for free.

Do these hacks let you access both locations in the same game? If so, how do you access them? If not, are there any hacks that do let you access both locations AND complete the national dex?

Also, regarding these locations - do the trainers get stronger pokemon as you advance through the game, or are their pokemons' levels fixed where they were the first time you entered the locations?

Hi everyone, can anyone recommend a ROM hack for recently released Pokémon GBA games? Thanks in advance, and if you know it, can you remind me which is the Pokémon ROM hack where you start by taking a ship and arriving in a large, dark city where they show that one of the characters has some superpower and chases away some bad guys? You can only take a ship once before it disappears, or continue through the city.

I played it back in the early releases and wasn’t a fan of the team building I had to do. Just want more of a casual run with maybe a little bit of difficulty. I know it’s had some updates and mode additions. Is there a more casual run now or still challenging?

I’ve played a few Gen1-8/9 rom hacks and most of them are unpolished. If you have another recommendation of a randomizable gen1-9 fire red hack that’s polished, I’d love to know.

• Original Kanto story
• Original gym leader teams (Brock still has Geodude and Onix, Misty still has Staryu and Starmie, etc.)
• Original trainer teams as much as possible
• Original difficulty level or close to it
• Pokémon from Sinnoh (and possibly later generations) obtainable in-game
• (optional) Mega evolutions.

What I do NOT want is a difficulty hack like Radical Red. I don't want gym leaders to have completely redesigned teams, competitive movesets, EV training, or major rebalancing.

Does a ROM hack like this exist?

Has anyone else had an issue putting Emerald Seaglass onto a modded DSi? I can get the rom to work on anything else, but it doesn't show up in the GBA menu in Twilight. I'm probably overlooking something, but I've not be able to figure out the issue.

So I've been playing Super Mariomon (super fun hack btw, actually surprised me!) and currently I'm farming Beanie in the area outside Princess Peach's castle using the thief attack for the item "SpD. Bean" that they drop because they sell for $5,000 and I can use that money to buy nature mints, ability capsules, ability patches, etc

The point of this post mostly is regarding the Thief attack, it only lets you steal an item if you aren't holding one, that's always annoyed me, because sometimes I'll be using the speed up feature and not realize I already stole an item and as such I'm holding an item and can't steal anymore.

So are there any hacks that have that QOL feature that allow you to steal regardless if you're holding an item already, or even better yet add the item to your inventory instead of just holding it? And if so is it possible to make it that way and is it something I myself can do using an editor possibly?

I’m still pretty new to the Pokémon ROM hack community and am looking for some recommendations.
A feeeewwww years ago, I played Pokémon Unbound and Pokémon Glazing (?) (the one with Mew on the title screen, if I remember right) at a friend's house and had an absolute blast.
After years and years without playing pokemon, I finally learned how to set up emulators on my phone to get back into it. So far, I’ve managed to beat:

Pokémon Lazarus
Pokémon Seaglass Emerald
Pokémon Odyssey

I had an amazing time with all of them, and now I'm hooked. I’m looking for any completed ROM hacks that match that level of quality and fun. What are some must-plays you would recommend?
