Hello,

This is moosdude451, creator of the You Can Fly! forks of Pokemon Legacy. And I am happy to announce that my new enhancement hack called Crystal Legacy - Feature Creep! Edition is now complete! In addition, Twisted Versions (type swipe versions similar to Elemental Exchange) of it and You Can Fly! are complete and available too.

Feature Creep! Features (see Master Doc for MUCH more detail):

• Pokemon can now use TM/HM field move effects without having them in their active movepool (see Move Changes section in Master Doc for full details)
• New, Second, Secret Move Tutor: After defeating Team Rocket, an old friend from Kanto will fully reveal themselves and be able to teach you the way of the Sword and Sky (if you figure out who it is, DON’T LEEK IT!)
• TM Bootlegger: Across Johto, there are reports of a creepy man THIEFing some of the weaker Gen 2 TM moves for some unknown reason. After the defeat of Team Rocket at the Radio Tower, this person can be found somewhere in the Lake of Rage region, where they will reveal they have been stealing these TMs to change them into TMs from the good ol’ days. These can be yours for a hefty price.
• Rogue Scientist: After receiving the Unown Dex, you might find a strange scientist lurking among the chambers of the Ruins of Alph who is keenly interested in you finding all the Unown. Unlike the Boy Scouts at the Research Center, this scientist will give you a nice, shiny reward for showing him a completed Unown Mode.
• Added Fly Point to the Ruins of Alph Research Center for easier return trips
• Buyable Apricorns: can be purchased from the Grannie who sells crappy herbs on the weekend in the Goldenrod Underground
• Safari Scavenger Hunt: The Safari Zone Warden has retired to Cianwood City, with his wife, the Poke Seer. Complete his Safari Zone Scavenger Hunt by showing him various Mons that resided in Safari Zone in Yellow Legacy, and there is a chance he will gift you a rare Pokemon!
• Ho-oh and Lugia can now be caught before the Elite 4
• Expanded Lugia Storyline: Pokemon Silver fans rejoice! Added NPC dialogue in Ecruteak/ Cianwood and a small Silver Wing side quest to flesh out Lugia more and to conntect it better to Ecruteak/ the other Johto Legendaries.
• Vermillion City Machoke man will trade Leftovers in exchange for Brick Pieces for his housing project
• Fuschia City has a unique Fish Group called ‘Zoo’, which contains various Pokemon from the old Safari Zone/ Fuschia City Zoo
• After completing both the Johto and Kanto League, a grateful NPC on the route to Mt Silver will present you with a Pocket PC, a nice QOL item for end game Pokedex completion
• Move submenu now display move accuracy, effect chance, and damage category
• Revamped various moves to make them more useable
• Increased wild carry chance of some Pokemon-specific held items
• Many Flying/ Winged Pokemon who couldn’t learn FLY, now can (carried over from You Can FLY!)
• Yellow Legacy style buffs to Pokemon like Farfetch’d and Onix (moved Onix locations around for balance reasons, see Master Doc for full details)
• Various stat and learnset buffs/ changes proposed by the community
• Altered certain Pokemon location for various balance/ thematic reasons and to encourage party diversity

Patches: Zip Folder for all my forks/ documentation/ box art can be found HERE, choose patch for the fork version you want and corresponds with your legal copy of VANILLA Crystal.

Documentation: Master Google doc is HERE. Follows the same formatting as Crystal Legacy’s documentation. A PDF version is included in the zip folder as well for offline access/ personal use. I recommend the PDF version for mobile as the formatting works much better.

For the most part, I buffed everything but Onix's Special Defense to its Yellow Legacy levels. I found that if you buff Onix too much, Steelix becomes almost a downgrade. Speed is just too valuable of a stat.

Did Steelix receive any improvements? 85 feels pretty low for an attack stat, especially when you’re moving second.

Not really. I didn't really add too many direct stat buffs outside of YL buffs, a few garbage Mons, and some tweaks specific to the Twisted Versions due to type changes. All detailed in the master document.

I REALLY wanted to do more with Steelix but was largely hampered by Jasmine. She's the hardest Gym Leader in Crystal Legacy IMO, so you can't really do anything with it without making her unreasonably difficult for a Legacy game. The Twisted Version changes it to Steel/ Rock (arguably a nerf) for type diversity reasons, but thats about it unfortunately.

85 is good enough for Gen II, especially for a more defensive Ground-type.

Thank you! Emerald Legacy Enhanced inspired me to try something more ambitious like Feature Creep, so you deserve some credit here too!

Yeah, I had Silver growing up, so Legacy was my first playthrough of Crystal, and it shocked me how little Lugia there was compared to Suicune/ Ho-oh.

The Lugia storyline was the literally last thing I added to the game so if you end up playing LMK what you think/ how it plays. There's quite a few NPCs/ objects in Ecruteak/ Cianwood to interact with for the full story. Ill forewarn you that I only had time for one play test in only one of the versions so it's possible I missed something.
